The Death Of A Family - 845 Words

Death is a topic that most people try to avoid, especially the death of a loved one. The spouse or family member may feel awkward and decline discussing the death. However, some are eager to discuss the lost depending on the stage of the grieving process. This paper will discuss two different interviews that were conducted February 10, 2016, which involved â€Å"church† people who have experienced the physical death of a significant human relationship. My first interviewee was Mr. Thomas a deacon at the church. Mr. Thomas had live extensively in New York, before retiring to South Carolina. He worked as civil servant for the federal government for about forty years. During his employment for the federal government he served in several supervisory positions. He states, â€Å"I have always believed in being active.† Mr. Thomas was married to his spouse for fifty -two years, and dated her for three years. â€Å"We meet when we were nineteen years old. My wife was my firs t and last date. We had two sons together. â€Å"My life with Dorothy was wonderful. She was the love of my life. She definitely was considered my best friend.† Mr. Thomas what are your best memories of Dorothy? Mr. Thomas answered â€Å"Some of best memories of Dorothy starts, first she was a wonderful wife and mother. She always showed concern for her family and friends. She strived to make others happy, in fact there was no limit to the length she would extend herself for others especially her husband and children.
